What is your fondest memory from U of G?

So many great memories but one that stands out is our class taking turns running the restaurant for an evening under Jo Marie Powers’ supervision. Planning menus, chopping and cooking and serving tables, we did it all.

What values did U of G instill in you that you carry to this day?

I learned that it’s important to find what you really love to do. I started out in another program and transferred to HAFA after the first semester and was so happy I did.

What is one piece of advice you want to give to current and future U of G students?

The one piece of advice I would give to students is to look for ways to make real impact in your career, be open to feedback and learn from others.

What are you most excited about this Alumni Week?

I’m looking forward to connecting with my classmates that I haven’t seen in awhile (can’t believe it’s been so long since we graduated!)
