What is your favourite memory from U of G?

Literally, any interaction with Saba Safdar in Psychology classes or Dr. William Bettger in Nutrition classes; Saba's lessons on social psychology and dynamics are still concepts I use to this day and had such real-world applicability. And Dr. Bettger was able to help us see past the classroom in a big way.

What is your GOLD Moment since you've graduated from U of G?

My GOLD moment would be the full-circle moment of being hired by the U of G to do the branding for their BIPOC initiative (for Student Experience). As a BIPOC designer and U of G alumni, it was a massive moment for me that I am grateful for.

What advice would you give our 2021 graduates who are entering our Alumni Family (tonight/June 24)?

You can completely shift careers and industries if you want to after you graduate – I definitely did. It's not only possible but likely as you grow and evolve as a human being. You are not your degree, but an amalgamation of all the experiences you've had in your years – never forget that!
