MacKinnon Renovation Fund

College of Arts

The College is investing in growth through renovations to the MacKinnon building and we are asking for your support to help us reach our goals. By supporting our growth, you are unlocking potential and opportunities for current and future students.

The renovation will create a modern and flexible space that fosters collaboration and interdisciplinary research for our students, faculty, the campus, and community at large. The MacKinnon building improvements will include an elevator, a new main entrance, and more student spaces. The Luscombe Theater will be reconfigured and returned to a black-box performance space. These projects offer an exciting glimpse of the College of Art’s future.

We are also building an Improv Lab — a multi-use research lab for the presentation, broadcast, archiving, and analysis of improvised performance, community workshops, and audience reception studies, across a variety of media.
