Date: August 18, 2020
Time: 12 pm - 1 pm Eastern Time
Location: From the comfort of your own home (Zoom!)
This webinar provides alumni with an interactive workshop to explore meaningful careers and future possibilities!
You'll use challenges that you're interested in to create an inspiring career path. Once you've registered for the workshop, you'll be sent a link to access an interactive tool where you'll decide what challenges the world is currently facing that are most important to you. Once completed, you'll receive a challenge profile report created just for you. We will walk you through the 5 steps you can take to intentionally create a fun and actionable plan. You'll walk away with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement about your future.
This webinar is lead by Jana McDonald from the University of Guelph's Experiential Learning Hub.
Jana enjoys helping clients explore how they can pursue meaningful careers and learning about their unique experiences. She has been with the University of Guelph for over 10 years helping students from the undergraduate right up to PhD levels. She has worked with students across all disciplines - sciences, arts, computing, engineering, applied sciences, and commerce. She interacts regularly with employers through co-op site visits and employer panels to bring the best career tips back to clients. One of her favourite things about working at a university is "learning about amazing research happening on the campus. It's so exciting to hear how faculty and students are improving the world each and every day!"
