Mark Jay, BA '89

Mark graduated from the University of Guelph in 1989 with his Bachelor of Arts degree, and a double major in Business Management and Economics. It was in this program that Mark discovered his keen interest in Marketing and Communications. The strength of the curriculum and real world case studies provided him with an incredible springboard into a long and successful career in Brand Design. Sharing passion for both business and design, he enjoys bringing both worlds together, influencing the direction of some of the biggest brands, through establishing creative visual strategies that compliment solid business strategies.

Mark’s wife Carol also attended the University of Guelph for her BA in Psychology. Mark & Carol currently live in Guelph and have three sons. Their oldest, Kellan, graduated from U of G in 2016 with his BA, majoring in Studio Arts, minoring in Marketing. Brennan is in his final year of his B.Eng, Mechanincal Engineering degree at U of G, and is considering returning to Guelph for his Masters degree. Their youngest, Eric, is at UWO finishing his 3^rd year in Communication – not a Gryphon, but still loved very much!
