UGAA Message - June 2017

The 2017 UGAA Awards of Excellence!

A night of celebration, alumni pride and good company.

Hosted at the new Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre, the gala is one of the marquee alumni events of the year. Guests were greeted by the UGAA President Brandon Gorman before walking down the red carpet into the new 2,200 seat event centre.

Appetizers and wine accompanied a silent auction that raised over $3,000 for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship. The award winning hospitality team served an exquisite dinner that showcased one of the many reasons why Guelph is Canada’s Food University.

But the main course of the evening was truly the award winners:

Alumni Medal of Achievement
