Improve Communities

If there is one word to describe the focal point of both Jaya James’ career and passion, it is community. Jaya promotes the power of community as being a key component to finding security and achievement in one’s life. Through her current work at the Lakeside HOPE House as Executive Director, Jaya’s dedication to improving the lives of others is apparent; over 10,000 visits were made by Guelph community members in 2017. In a world where poverty and economic disparity are present in many communities, individuals like Jaya truly make a difference.
