Leader of Tomorrow Award: Danielle Gaudet

Danielle Gaudet’s journey through the hospitality industry began in F&B operations in Montreal 2005; followed by graduating from the School of Hotel & Food Administration in 2008. In the first few years after graduation, Danielle veered into the venues side of events and experienced several intense years in F&B at the Enercare Centre, and five formative years as an Event Manager at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Most recently, she rose through the ranks at the Toronto International Film Festival, initially taking a one-year contract in event production and ending her time there as Senior Manager of that department. Danielle is currently employed on the client side with the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, helping to produce their annual Convention. She recalls her time in the HAFA program fondly and among many lessons learned, she experienced the importance and art of networking and teamwork. It was at several HAFA Alumni Nights that she met key hospitality professionals that helped her gain awareness into the business and secure employment in the industry she coveted to join.
