What is your favourite memory from U of G?

There are so many to choose from but the most memorable would have to be the very beginning, Frosh Week in Mills Halls. Also, in the end, competing on JDCC - Business Strategy and Sports.

What is your GOLD Moment since you've graduated from U of G?

There have been two BIG ones, both involving risk:

1. Moving to Calgary at 23 years old, a new city where I knew only 1 person and managed 35-40 employees in the midst of the busiest season of the year.

2. Quitting Pepsi and joining Shopify in the midst of a pandemic. #RiskItForTheBiscuit

What advice would you give our 2021 graduates who are entering our Alumni Family (tonight/June 24)?

I would say be BOLD and chase what excites you. I would also say be very careful who your five closest people are - show me your friends and I'll show you your future. One quote that has really stuck out to me is: “You can fail at what you don't love, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you do love.” - Jim Carrey
