Transformational learning is an important pillar of our School, and thanks to donor support, learning and experience outside the classroom is possible. We are thrilled to share these impressive accomplishments by LANG students this past year:

First Place at the Human Resources Industry Conference in Toronto.

• Finalist for AIM2Flourish — a global sustainable development competition that prepares a generation of global leaders to use business innovation as a “force for good.”
• Two first place finishes, and 17 awards in total, at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Florida, and ten awards at the DECA-U Ontario competition.
• Four medals, including two first place, one second place and one third-place finish at the JDC Central case competition, hosted by Lang for 500 students across 11 universities.
• Two first place and one second place finish at the annual Tri-University Hospitality and Tourism Case Competition hosted by Lang students.
• The prestigious W.C. Winegard Medal, the University’s top undergraduate convocation award, won by a Lang business student for the first time since its inception.
• Fourth year Lang students made a pitch for their business - Canadian BBQ Boys - on the Dragon’s Den.
