One day. Three ways to make a difference at the University of Guelph.
At the University of Guelph, change comes to life through the generosity of our community. On Giving Tuesday — a global celebration of giving — let’s show what’s possible when we come together to support what matters most.
This December 2, join us to cheer on Gryphon athletes, care for companion animals through OVC Pet Trust, and help U of G students bring their ideas to life through the University’s Highest Priority fund.
*Meet the Generous Donors Doubling Your Impact to the University’s Highest Priority fund
Bruce Waddell, B.Sc. (Agr.) ’76, and Carolyn Waddell (née Pinkham), BA ’75, first crossed paths at the University of Guelph in the 1970s. Their time at U of G sparked a lifelong connection — to each other and to the U of G community. Inspired by the opportunities and experiences they gained, Bruce and Carolyn have been giving back ever since, helping today’s students access the same transformative experience.
This Giving Tuesday, Bruce and Carolyn are teaming up with the University of Guelph Alumni Association (UGAA) to double the difference you make.
These generous matching gifts mean every donation to the University’s Highest Priority fund goes twice as far.
Every online gift to the University’s Highest Priority fund made between 7 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. EST will be doubled ‒ up to a total of $18,000. Your support will open even more doors for students across campus, bringing change to life for the next generation of Gryphons.
