Other Ways to Give

Class Projects

Class projects are a meaningful tradition for many alumni who want to give back to the University. These initiatives are driven by volunteers from specific graduating classes, who select a funding priority that resonates with them. Together, they set a fundraising goal and timeline, collaborating with classmates to achieve their objectives.

To learn more about how your class can support a funding priority or participate in an active class project, please email annualgiving@uoguelph.ca.

Gifts in Kind

A gift of tangible property such as works of art, books, animals, equipment and collections. Gifts in kind may be made to the University to augment academic and research activities. Donations are assessed by a qualified appraiser to determine the fair market value of the items. Donors receive a tax receipt for the appraised value.

For information about making a gift in kind, contact Alumni House at 519-824-4120 ext 56934 or donate@uoguelph.ca.

Help Students Thrive, Not Just Survive

A gift to the University Highest Priority Fund helps us focus on what matters most. Donors to Highest Priority have helped student food insecurity, mental health, and urgent financial need. Or a gift to a scholarship or bursary provides an invaluable gift of time, enabling students to concentrate on their studies and participate in learning outside the classroom.

Whatever area you support, you are making a difference.
