Krista Miller, BA '16

VP Internal

 

Krista graduated from the University of Guelph in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Studies; and in 2018 with a MSc. in Family Relations and Human Development. During her undergrad at Guelph, she was a member and Policy and Standards Board Director for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity of Women, and Research Assistant and Lab Manager in the Visual Cognitive Neuroscience Lab. During her Masters at Guelph, she was a mentor with the Psychology Mentorship program, a Director for the GSA, a member of the 1 in 5 Mental Health Committee, and co-founded and co-organized the first Guelph Graduate Mental Health Conference. She also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the FRAN department, and a Research Assistant in Dr. Preyde’s Mental Health Research Lab.

After leaving Guelph, Krista became an Alumni Advisor for the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity of Women Guelph Chapter. She now works at the University of Waterloo as a Research Graduate Academic Assistant for the School of Public Health and Health Systems and serves on multiple committees including the Mental Health Advisory Committee.
