U of G students won gold at the 2019 International Genetic Engineering Competition with an innovative test to detect antibiotics in animal products and related outreach efforts.

'Learning-by-doing’ through hands-on experience is vital for students — it prepares them for employment and allows them to build their skillset outside of the classroom. With your help, students are participating in research assistantships, competitions, and symposiums, and above all, they are preparing to be leaders in science.
