Recent Impact - Ontario Agricultural College

Thank you for investing in OAC’s Planning for Tomorrow Campaign. Your gift helps us recruit students, provide career counselling, and promote the many opportunities available in the food and agriculture sector. Above all, your support means we can attract our industry's future leaders. This fall alone, we have presented to:

• 946 high school students
• 525 elementary school students
• 80 teachers and guidance counsellors

This program is funded entirely by donors. You are the reason we were able to host 15 in-class workshops, eight on-campus experiences, a Specialist High Skills Major Conference, and an Agriculture Innovation Showcase, in partnership with Wellington Waterloo Community Futures.

Feedback from program participants has been outstanding: “It was well organized, engaging, addressed multiple career pathways and left me feeling motivated,” and “We learned and did so much. Best conference I've been to.” But, the true indicator of our success is the 42% increase in OAC enrolment over the last eight years. We truly appreciate your support. You are making a difference for our students and the future of agriculture and food.
