Friday Afternoon Tours - 2:30 pm 

Join us for a guided walk through the Arboretum's botanical collections and learn about research and conservation activities. No rough terrain is involved but good walking shoes are recommended.

Gain insight into the college's evolution, architectural significance, and foundational stories. Share your own tales along the way, as we explore the campus's vibrant past. The Guelph Food Innovation Centre offers applied research services to extend and enhance product innovation. Join Dr. Nick Repin as he walks the group through a demonstration of the extrusion process for expanded snacks and cereals.

Saturday Morning Tours - 9 am 

The Honey Bee Research Centre tour will emphasize the biology of bees and the positive effect they have on both the natural environment and our well-being. The tour includes an outdoor demonstration of beekeepers working safely with bees and an up-close view of the bees and their honeycomb. Transportation will be provided.

No rough terrain is involved but good walking shoes are recommended. Please meet at the main entrance of the University Centre at 8:50 am.

In honour of OAC’s 150th Anniversary, join us for a tour of Johnston Hall as we highlight three key areas within this historic building; the Student Federation of OAC Lounge, the iconic Johnston Hall boardroom and the newly built Alumni & Heritage Centre. Accessibility notes: while this tour will span across three floors via stairs, there is an elevator available. The building is not wheelchair accessible.

Please meet outside Johnston Hall's main doors at 8:50 am.

Remember Thursdays at Noon? Remember performances in the Luscombe Theatre? Come see how Arts at Guelph has evolved over the years. We will tour around three Arts spaces, including the newly renovated Arts Research Centre (home to music, theatre and improv), Zavitz Hall (home to our Studio Art program which is renowned for its excellence and the success of our graduates) and the Interdisciplinary Design Lab (equipped with a 3-D printer, a water jet cutter and a digital haptic device).

Please meet at the Cannon at 2:20 pm.

Learn about the Department of Food Science’s enduring relationship with the ice cream industry through its 110-year-old ice cream course. Discover how ice cream is made, explore the processing facilities, and enjoy samples. The tour will be led by Professor Douglas Goff, who has taught the course for 36 years.
