At 82, Desmond Doran has had his fair share of life experiences, some not always in his favour. Desmond was unlike many, he continuously fought for equality for all whether that meant fighting for equal food distribution, or standing up to racial prejudice. Through his cataclysmic roles with such organizations as the United Nations, and Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada, he has been the physical embodiment of what it means to Improve Life.
